Nune Ayvazyan holds a doctorate in Translation Studies from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). She is currently a lecturer (professora agegada) at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, where she teaches in the Department of English and German Studies and is coordinator of the Master's in Professional Translation. She holds a BA in English Studies from the URV and an MA in Translation Studies from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her current research interests are in the teaching of foreign languages through translation and multilingualism in minority communities. Anthony Pym is Professor Emeritus at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. He was President of the European Society for Translation Studies from 2010 to 2016. He works on sociological approaches to translation and intercultural relations. He holds a doctorate in Sociology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris. His recent publications include Exploring Translation Theories (third edition 2023), Risk Management in Translation (2025), How to Augment Language Skills (2025), and Method in Translator History (2026). Charis Charalampous is Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. He holds a BA in English from the University of Athens, an MA in Renaissance Literature from the University of York, and a PhD in English from the University of Cambridge. In 2021-2022 he was a lecturer at the University of Cyprus. He is the author of Rethinking the Mind-Body Relationship in Early Modern Literature, Philosophy and Medicine: The Renaissance of the Body (Routledge, 2016). Thalia Trigoni is a tenure-track Assistant Professor (Serra Hunter Fellow) at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Athens, an MA in American Literature from King's College, University of London, and a PhD in English from the University of Cambridge. She does interdisciplinary research on a period spanning the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries, particularly in relation to the unconscious, emotions, the senses, animal studies, and travel writing.

Ilia Chalimourda is a Martí Franquès doctoral research fellow at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. She obtained her BA in English Language and Literature and her MA in International and European Studies, specializing in cultural heritage, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research interest lies in studying literature and culture through an interdisciplinary approach.
